Knox schools get budget boost
KNOX schools have hit the jackpot with a $30.5 million windfall in last week’s State Budget.
This will fund:
developments at two high schools,
merger plans for two Boronia schools, and
the relocation of an autistic primary school into a prep to year 12 campus at the vacant former Ferntree Gully Secondary School site.
But there are claims one of the budget commitments merely rehashes an as yet unfulfilled 2006 election promise
